Case Description
John presented with the challenge of severe mechanical
and chemical wear. Half a lifetime of tremendous unbalanced
forces destroyed his natural teeth. He suffered from
a condition called severe horizontal bruxism, which
studies have shown to generate up to 1000 lbs /sq inch
of pressure on teeth. His treatment included full mouth
gum surgery to expose healthy tooth structure, rebuilding
the bite with PFM crowns, meticulous bite adjustment
and a bite guard for future prevention. We chose PFM
crowns for him over all porcelain for restoration strength
reasons. Many dentists would not be comfortable diagnosing
and treating this case. With advanced training at the
L.D. Pankey Institute, Dr Rohrer was able to treat this
complicated case enhancing both the aesthetics and functionality
of John's teeth.

Case Description
Sage presented with a very common aesthetic challenge
of the color of her teeth being darker than desired
and uneven, as well as tooth shape and gum level discrepancies
that weren't optimal. The solution here was a minor
gum lift on one tooth and porcelain veneers to control
the color and tooth contours. Notice on the before photo,
the two front teeth gum level was slightly different
and the teeth were different apparent widths. In the
after, these challenges were solved creating a natural
and beautiful smile.

Case Description
Scott presented with a very common aesthetic and health
challenge. He had some old porcelain fused to metal
(PFM) crowns with recurrent decay and receded gum tissue.
One of the disadvantages of PFM crowns is that if the
gums recede, you are left with a very unaesthetic black
line at the gum line. The solution used here was new
all porcelain crowns. You can see the natural appearance
of these restorations. No black lines ever, because
there is no metal. Also notice the health of the gum
tissue, adding to their natural life-like beauty.

|
|
Case Description
Valerie presented with moderate to severe bruxism and
some coloration issues. Notice in the side view of her
teeth how the two front teeth were actually shorter
than the ones on the side. This creates not only functional
and health issues, but also a very aged smile. The treatment
here was porcelain veneers, a bite adjustment and a
biteguard for future prevention. Notice on the after
pictures how the two front teeth are longer than the
side teeth, creating an outrageously gorgeous, natural
looking and youthful smile.

Valerie's Testimonial
"I instantly felt trust, and was excited about getting
started on the work. The procedure was comfortable, easy,
and the doctor was very gentle. I now love my teeth and
smile. Not a day goes by that someone doesn 't comment
how beautiful my smile is." |

| Pat |

|
Case Description
Pat presented with a variety of health as well as aesthetic
challenges. She had significant gum disease, root decay,
and bite problems as well as uneven gums and tooth color.
The first step in treatment was braces followed by orthognathic
surgery to reposition the jawbone. Then the gums were
lifted to improve the appearance as well as the health
of the teeth. After this was finished she needed to
have all of her teeth crowned and splinted together
to reinforce them and rebuild the bite. The result was
much improved aesthetics and teeth that were free from
gum infection and tooth decay and a healthy comfortable
bite.

Pat's Testimonial
"I am so happy with my final result. My teeth are beautiful
and perfect. I can best describe Dr. Rohrer as a person
who has an obsession and passion for detail. Maybe those
are strong words, but that is exactly what I wanted." |
